With it still being pretty cold we've decided to rework vintage sweats by cropping them, and I've been adding the band back on to the majority of them and they have worked really well, They're being sold for £22 in store at the moment and are a perfect piece for the mid season rework range. They come in all different colours too! There will be more to come and more reworked items too.
New mid season rework

After the Christmas break I've been looking at the biggest trends for SS15 and these are the ones!
I've created trend boards with my favourite looks from the catwalks and i can't wait for the weather to be better to wear some of the trends and also to get started on some new designs that will be inspired by them for Lily Vintage. The trends are so varied from the more feminine tulle to the not so Utility! So it looks like spring will be full of cool looks. I'm also going to be looking at what the high street and online clothing sites are going to be offering for the coming season!

Before Christmas i was asked to help a Girl from my uni Elena Matlock, who's on the fashion styling course to make garments for her Hentsch Man inspired shoot. They needed to be big on print so i sourced fabrics that would suit and check them over with her, Elena needed 5 looks for the project so this consisted of three shirts, three shorts, a blazer and tie and bomber jacket.
Although it was manic getting it together before Christmas sorting out sizing and stuff it was good to make different things and to work to a deadline, I'm pretty proud of the collection, as I'd never made a blazer before and not had experience of doing menswear so i was chuffed when i was asked to help out and hopefully you think it's turned out well! These are the final edits of the shoot!
Check out and follow @elenamatlockstyling on instagram she's gonna be a fab stylist.

Can't believe its been over two weeks since i went of a fab weekend to London with two of my favourite girls on the planet. It was a surprise 21st getaway for my best friend Beth that we planned. we stayed in such a night apartment in Belgravia (Very MIC) thanks to Anna's fam connections!
It was just what we all needed to start off the Christmas break, and now its my first day back at placement i couldn't want to be there more right now! We did sight seeing, and went to winter wonderland, the shard for drinks some how we got them for free tehe, and the weekend was filled with stuffing our faces and drinking fancy drinks!
GET ME BACK THERE!
