After my post about my bomber jacket I went on a hunt to find some more!
If I had a wish list these would most probably be on it.
Especially after seeing the House Of Holland A/W14 Collection at LFW, featuring this jacket, I wanted to find more that I wish I could afford!
From florals to abstract prints there's tons for you to get you hands on.
With amazing varieties on the highstreet and also if you can stretch to the high end ones... well I can dream can't I?!

Outfit of the week...

Floral bomber / Zara
Knit joggers / H&M
Sandals & over sized tee / Primark

Back in January my Dad got me this jacket in the Zara sale and I'm sooo glad he did!
Bomber jackets have been big this spring and I'm loving them, especially with all
the fun prints covering them!
...And I found these Birkenstock lookalikes in Primark for only a Fiver, they'll probably only last me this summer but for that price who cares?! Absolute bargain!
I wore this outfit to placement on Tuesday and leaving the house at 7am it was perfect, but maybe shouldn't have gone with the knit joggers in the heat of the studio I was boiling!

Grey Bandanna /  asos Marketplace £3.38

In work I got asked to do some outfit of the day styling, this is an area of fashion i really enjoy.
Putting together different looks and garments to come up with something different and cool...
So i used Pretty Disturbia brands in the first OOTD,
Then put a vintage outfit together.
Right now I'm loving statement necklaces and this handmade tassel one would be perrrrrfect for a festival!
Then I went with the Vintage powder blue skirt which is a colour that has really been on trend over summer!
I kind of also fell in love with this vintage leather jacket... but sadly i don't even have £40.00 to might name right now!
So hopefully a deserving customer will get it that I will envy!
I have included all the links to the items so go ahead and take a look!

Pretty Disturbia Asos Marketplace

Tuesday, 8 July 2014

Hair pieces and much more available on Pretty Disturbia Asos Marketplace!
So during my first week interning I made some quirky accessories and this is just a peek at a couple of the hair pieces i made during my first few days.
They're available on asos market place through Pretty Disturbia's online store with different colour ribbon and card designs!
It's quite exciting to see them there as this is a part of my placement I find really cool, that the things I'm actually making someone somewhere will hopefully own!

Photo shoot For my mini collection!

Sunday, 6 July 2014

On Friday in probably the worst weather all week I did my photo shoot for my UCLan mini collection.
With the help of my friends it went really well, the collection is based on a futuristic feel and I made a crop top, skirt and jacket!
The skirt and crop top are made from imitation leather with plastic insert panels.
The Jacket is in a royal blue Lycra also with plastic panels.
I'm so happy with the pictures my friend Rosie Martin took and my Friend Anna Strain made jewellery that features in the shoot!
Also the model Erin was fab in the crappy weather I felt awful stood there
with an umbrella and jacket while she was doing her thinggggg freezing...oopsies!

Outfit of the week...

 Shirt: Zara
Jeans and shoes: Topshop (similar)
Gilet: Mums

So this was one of my fave outfits I wore to placement this week:
I wore an over sized check Zara Shirt I got in the sale last summer!
My shoes and jeans are both from Topshop, probably my favourite jeans ever,
And my faux fur body is my mums which I've had my eye on for a while so it was the perrrrfect opportunity to nab it as she's gone on holiday so sadly I'll have to put it back!

What I got up to!

Saturday, 5 July 2014

In my first week at Pretty Disturbia I got up to all sorts! Started straight away with menswear... doing a menswear inspiration board, which is really cool as menswear is completely something I want to get the hang of more this year!
I was then customising men's T-shirts that could be sold on asos market place, and also making accessories.
Thursday was hands on too I sorted out the clothes rails then made some fashion collages, while this was going on there was a model casting going in so everyone was dead busy.
After lunch i got asked to do some design work ideas towards the "Steam Punk" collection which is a really cool mix of punk with a twist of the Victorian era so inspired by high collars, rich fabrics and imagery like clocks and florals!
Finally before the day was done I was listing items on the brands asos market place store which was kinda confusing because I'm the worst with computers I even found this blog a bit tricky to start with but I'm getting the hang!
